This beautiful woven basket is a handmade product made from elephant grass and is produced by talented women from rural areas of Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
The baskets are natural and 100% non-toxic. Each basket undergoes a six-stage manufacturing process. Depending on the size, design, and type of basket, production can take one to three weeks.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Due to shipping, the basket may arrive compressed or slightly deformed.
Follow these simple steps to get him back in shape:
★ Lightly sprinkle with cold water
★ Let it rest for five minutes
★ Carefully shape the basket with your hands.
★ Let it dry in the sun or at room temperature
★ Allow to dry completely in a well-ventilated place, as the basket may become moldy if it remains damp.
